Today I am thankful. Happy. Content. Loved.
For those of you who don't know much about these two books here's a little break down. They are self help books based on the laws of attraction.
And how you think can change your life. All with positive thoughts.
I love the idea of positiveness and encouraging happiness by thinking happy. It makes a lot of sense to me. Maybe not to everyone. But to me, yes.
The power says to sit at the end of the day and look at what made you feel happy and loved throughout the day. It can be anything. Anything at all. Any little thing that made you smile.
I think this is a GREAT thing to do. For anyone. How can breaking down all the happy things be anything but good?. And by focusing on the good I feel at peace. Knowing I am lucky and loved.
I have decided to share my list for today. Maybe it will inspire you to write one. Here's to happy thoughts and a happy mind.
Today these things made me smile.
1; Waking early.
2; Starbucks coffee.
3; Cuddles on the sofa with the children.
4; A home cooked dinner.
5; Poppy tasting her first ever raspberry tea and loving it.
6; News that my Auntie and cousin are flying over from Italy in 2 weeks.
7; Watching the children play together blissfully.
8; Poppy reminding daddy of 'Bruno' (our chosen name for a dog).
9; A £5 bargain dress.
10; Browsing the charity bookshop and getting a new book to read.
11; Bedtime stories.
12; All three children asleep and resting peacefully after a busy day.
13; A hot bath and mug of green tea.
14; My husband. I love that man.
15; The smell of my wedding day perfume.
A few very simple things. I haven't changed the world today. But I do feel so happy. And that's because of all these things.
